We were approached by our client to construct a substantial single-storey extension from drawings that they had already obtained. Our brief was to create a striking spacious study & meeting room; combining a home renewed entrance to replace an existing porch & front door; with a patio area for the whole family to enjoy. The works were unavoidably across the main access to our clients home – so our teams considerate & meticulously tidy work practises & careful planning to maintain safe access to the home for the duration were essential…
Works Included:
- Demolition of the existing porch
- Construction of a single-storey timber framed extension
- Design & build of feature fireplace & custom wood store from reclaimed timber
- Installation & commission of log burner by our HETAS approved sub-contractor
- Decoration of extension
- Supply & installation of LVT flooring throughout to run seamlessly into the existing flooring
- Patio & landscaping
All works were completed on schedule (including external landscaping) within 9 weeks of starting the project at the end of March 2019
